I love to create and experiment with what nature has endowed us. My art and crafts here are all nature inspired, and handmade by me. Yes, just me so I can't mass produce, sorry ! My wire flowers and other wire sculptures are inspired by the beautiful flora and fauna in my own backyard. The fun is coming up with new designs when I see new gorgeous blooms or when a dragonfly glides by. You can also have fun with arranging the wire flowers that I have made. I live in a rural lot in Ontario, Canada, and I have so much fun foraging in my backyard where most of the plants are not planted by me. Thank the birds, squirrels and chipmunks instead! To my loyal customers: I have now migrated from my old Etsy shop to my own dedicated website. If you are interested in any listings that you see at my old Etsy shop but which still have not been moved to this website, simply email me at info@playfulsnaz.com or fill in the contact form, and I will get back to you. I pick beautiful flowers and leaves from my organic garden, then press the edible flowers for cake decorating, and preserve other flowers and leaves in different ways for making crafts. These are all natural with no dyes, no pesticides, no herbicides, no preservatives, no additives. We live on well water, so irrigation is using natural ground water and not chemically treated city water. I only offer edible flowers and leaves which I have eaten myself for cake decoration. However, please be aware of allergies, consult your doctors, and do your own research on the edibility and consume at your own risk. Also please note that they are more for decoration than good taste. While they are edible, some might not taste delicious, and most leaves have a bitter taste. I harvest different flowers depending on the season. Here are videos of me cooking some of my edible flowers. I do eat them :) Edible Flowers Making Tea with Large Hisbiscus |
